Grand Tall Cedar’s Message March 2022

Cedars, and Cedarettes,

March is here, and that means Spring (and warmer weather) is just around the corner. This month will be having a virtual meeting (Zoom), and author Jill Farinelli will be making a presentation about her book The Palatine Wreck: New England’s Ghost Ship. This should be another fantastic presentation in our series, and I sincerely hope you and your family and prospects will join us. Your officers are working diligently on an activities schedule for the year with lots of fun and adventure for Cedars, Cedarettes, family and friends, and if you have suggestions, please email them to us massasoit91@gmail.com.

This month is our first parade of the year, the Newport St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 12, and we could use your help, no prior experience necessary! As you know, parades are our primary fundraiser for operating expenses and to support our philanthropy. We count on these parades and the income they generate to keep our Forest going and our dues affordable for our members. Please reach out to our Boss Clown Frank or John for the information about the parade.

Next month, we will be meeting in-person for fun for the whole family, we’re hosting a Family Feud Trivia Night, and all are welcome to attend and participate, (the questions will be general trivia). We will have a dinner beforehand, the details of which will be announced shortly.

If you haven’t attended a meeting or event in a while, please do, we’d love to see you and your family. As always, if we can be of any help, please reach out to an officer.

Fraternally,

Matt

P.S. Please share the gift of fun, frolic, fellowship, brotherhood, and philanthropy that is being a Tall Cedar by inviting our brothers to attend a meeting or event and start their journey through the Forests of Lebanon!
